Castlecomer library is pleased to showcase a Folklore exhibition that was first displayed in our library in 2004. This exhibition was a result of a project completed by four local schools, Firoday N.S., Lisnafunchin N.S., Covent of Mercy N.S. Ballyragget and Presentation Convent N.S., Castlecomer where local folklore stories and reflections on life in 2004 were recorded by the pupils.
Call into the library to revisit life as it was in 2004! We are delighted that this project will be added to the Kilkenny Digital Archive so that it can be enjoyed by future generations to come. You can view this online from the 27th of September.
