In these talks supporting parents and caregivers Mary will:
Look at a range of activities that parents/caregivers can use to develop oral language and comprehension
Examine and explore how we might engage in reading picture books with young children
Reading aloud strategies
Different types of conversations that can be had
Exploration and demonstration of age-appropriate books for young children.
