The Mayfair library opened it's doors to the public on Thursday , April 25th at 10am.
This 1800sqm state of the art library offers a wide variety of opportunities for all ages and will provide significant cultural, community, educational spaces and a destination for the community.
Services in this bright and spacious building include community exhibition space, meeting room for workshops, book clubs and other events, study
spaces, young adult area, dedicated children’s area, makerspace with 3D printing and a range of other programmes, comfortable spaces to sit and browse, printing, scanning and access to public internet and much more .
Opened officially by Minister Heather Humphreys on April 24th, this new library will be open 6 days a week from Monday – Saturday with 2 late evenings on Tuesday and Thursday until 8pm.
The library will close on Saturdays and Mondays of Bank holiday weekends.
