Edel Heeran, a Heritage in Schools specialist with the Heritage Council, gives a presentation that is interactive and talks about our wild bees and honeybees and how the All-Ireland Pollinator Plan was developed to help them. She brings along an educational hive (no live bees), bees in bug pots, a smoker and bee suit that they're welcome to try on.
